The infobox is doing this odd thing now where the pre-biography text seems to appear above it instead of beside it, like a quote. I'm not sure if that's just on my browser (Chrome) though.

Not your browser's fault. It was mine again. I left out a bit of code when I was editing the template earlier. It should be fixed now.
I just looked through some character infoboxes. Finally, I can see them. =) But, I notice some characcters still said gender and race only. In the source tab, I check and it just said gender and race. No age, relatives, and etc. I think that's because some editors can't figure how to get other information to appear in the character pages, so they give up and go with gender and race only.
Klock-- Since you're admin, what do you want to see its character infobox? Gender, race, relatives, and age?
I think the reason most of them still only have Gender and Race are because they're the only bits of information we know for definite right now. Speaking from past experience I can safely say that they always end up getting filled in as information becomes available. Just in case anyone is unsure of how to add stuff though, I'll put an example at the end of this post.
In regards to content, for now the infobox supports the headings listed on this page. They're not 100% ideal, but they'll do until the game launches. I'll make them more game-specific once it's released and we have more info.
Anyway, as promised, here's a quick example of how to add content to the infobox:
The following is the current one from Ellie's page:
{{infobox character
| name = Ellie
| image = File:Ellie_Render.png
| imagewidth = 220
| gender = Female
| race = Human
| age = 14
| relatives = Unknown}}
A list of all the possible fields/headings that you can add can be found here. So if I wanted to add in Ellie's status, I'd make the following edit to the above:
{{infobox character
| name = Ellie
| image = File:Ellie_Render.png
| imagewidth = 220
| gender = Female
| race = Human
| age = 14
| relatives = Unknown
| status = Alive}}
You can add any of the headings listed on the page linked above (i.e. faction, age, location, etc.) using the same method.
Hopefully this clears up any questions/issues. If not, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
That is exactly it, with most characters we don't know anymore than their name and gender. So as editors we prefer to not have a bunch of "unknown"s or "N/A"s in the box.
Also, doesn't status count as a spoiler?
^I believe it's only a spoiler when it's actually supplemented with a "alive"/"deceased" answer (+citation). I figure as long as it doesn't get filled, anyone who doesn't know better prior to the release of the game, won't know either way and therefore cannot be spoiled.
