EEE-YESS!

I came down here to the bottom to say exactly the same thing.

Those first-wave, angry feminists had a lot of shit to be rightfully mad about. Men beat up their wives and got off with "I was just drunk, your honor." If a rape victim was single, cute, and ex-boyfriends will testify that she had "pre-marital" sex; they wouldn't even prosecute the rapist. If a woman wore short skirts, "she was asking for it." It was legal to rape your wife.

BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT NOW.

You're correct, these crazy "feminists" have a laundry list of supposedly-sexist behaviours that they try to match with every single thing that involves a man.

► Would Tess' death have been less moving if she'd been a father figure rather than a young woman?

Yes!

Joel was the father figure, and it would have fucked up the game to have two.

► Would Ellie be worth less as a possible cure if she was a college-aged, but sheltered young man?"

Not to the firefly doctors, but to the player, absolutely! Don't nobody wanna play for hours rescuing and protecting a helpless nerd or an old man!

This game is the least sexist, least stereotyping game I have ever seen. If Tess, Sarah, and Ellie were guys (which they said in the OP article would be better), these "feminists" would be screaming about the lack of female characters.

And despite the complete lack of even a hint of patriachy and the only adult females being "the boss" of the men (Marline, head of the fireflies, and Tess pretty-much dominating Joel), they would say the female characters aren't strong enough.

If Tess took care of Ellie, and Joel gave his life to save the two females (which they also say they'd prefer), these "wimmen" would be furious that a man did something noble and strong to protect these two powerless girls.

On top of that, Ellie is a lesbian and Bill is gay.

There is no satifying their anger. Don't try.

They will be mad at men no matter what happens—probably because they were either raped when young, lesbians, dumped by a guy in their teens and it destroyed them, or they hate men they remember because they are almost universally extremely unattractive.

That's right, I said that. And I'll say it again if you want.

Dr. Camille Paglia, world-famous feminist lesbian humanities professor, said:

"The feminist line is: nude dancers and prostitutes are degraded, subordinated, and enslaved; they are victims, turned into objects for men to leer at and use. But strippers, nude dancers, and prostitutes are far from being victims — they rule; they are in total control.

"The feminist analysis says that men are using money as power over women. I'd say, yes, because that's all that men have. The money is a confession of weakness. They have to buy women's attention. They come
begging the woman for sex, or even just permission to look at her body, which they pretty-much worship. Their money is not a sign of power; it's a sign of weakness."

Under another name, I wrote a whole lot of that.
