<p>Hi there! I'm fairly new to the world of "The Last of Us" but I already love this game (Part 1 - Remastered) to death. I have one question considering gameplay though and I hope one of you can help me out. Sometimes when I try to stangle an enemy Joel tends to throw him on the ground and steps on his head to kill. I always use the same approach/combo (grabbing using triangle, holding it, then pressing square as well to initiate the kill).  I don't understand why this sometimes happens. It seems as if the AI throws this variation in just for fun every now and then. </p>

<p>Hello everybody, </p><p>Is there any chance I can stop the flashlight from flickering without having an original PS4 controller? I am using a third party wired controller that does not support motion/ gyroscope technology to perform the shake of the controller that is needed to stop the flashlight flickering. </p><p>Thank you in advance </p>

<p>I was wondering why amongst the living enemies such as the Hunters you didn't see any already dead ones from conflicts with other people.  </p><p>I mean there was that one guy who was hung by the team for trying to run off with some stuff but that's it. You don't see any Hunters that were dead due to Tourists or Infected. </p><p>Sure you see some dead Tourists due to Hunters but no Dead Hunters except for the hung up guy. </p><p>You did see dead Infected though like the ones braced up against the walls emitting spores.  </p><p>I think already dead enemies (in addition to the living ones of course) would have been a nice touch because it would show the player that other people have had their victories against the enemies Joel and Ellie currently face. </p><p>Also I know there were some dead soldiers but I'm not counting them because they weren't in the area you fought living soldiers. Those were just guys other enemies have since disposed of. </p><p>So yeah hope Naughty Dog improves upon that. </p>

<p>Maybe some soldiers thought that their actions to the people were wrong or had different beliefs so they turned sides but that's my opinion. </p>

<p>In the game,we know that the infected survived for years but how? We know this is a mutated version of CBI which can infect humans but us humans need to eat and drink so can the infected who are humans survive without food or water? </p>

<p>So I don't think anyone else has noticed this, but EVERY Firefly pendant found in The Last of Us is stamped with "JAMES BROWN 000235". I'm not talking about when you view the pendants in Joel's inventory, I mean when the pendent is still part of the environment (before Joel picks it up). It can be pretty faint and hard to read, but James Brown is definitely stamped on all of them. It doesn't matter if the pendant is on the ground or hanging from something, it's there. The interesting part is that none of the firefly pendants actual belong to James Brown. Nor is there a firefly known to have the first name James or the last name Brown. The only James I can think of, was David's buddy. Furthermore, none of the known fireflies had service number 000235. So, who was James Brown? Is James Brown canon? If so, is James a canon firefly? Am I looking too much into this? Maybe. I know that the names on 24 of the firefly pendant are from real people who won the Firefly Pendant Contests, but I don't know about the rest. <p>I kind a wanted to make my own last of the story but it takes place in Chicago so I came here to get some more about Chicago for my story but I literally can't find any information about the Chicago QZ  </p>

<p>I was upset that Sam was infected and Henry committed non-existence. I thought it would've been cool if Joel and Henry or Sam and Ellie as partners in the second game. What are you thoughts? </p>

<p>Ellie just after her fight to the death with David, wow! Talk about an immersive story. Heartbreaking seeing her go through trauma like that. I don't think I've even seen that many movies that have managed to move me as much as that did. Top marks to Ashley Johnson who is incredible with her voice acting of Ellie. </p><p>What was the most memorable / moving scene for you from The Last Of Us? </p><p>

<p>Honestly as essential and nice as the weapons were in The Last of Us specification wise they were wrong: </p><p>1. Hunting Rifle - Based off of the Winchester Model 70 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Model_70) it starts with a one bullet capacity. ONE bullet! The real gun holds 5 regular rounds standard. When upgraded it fully holds a measly 5 bullets. </p><p>2. El Diablo - Based off of the Smith & Wesson Model 29 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith_%26_Wesson_Model_29) it holds ONE bullet from the start and it's a freaking REVOLVER. Real life it holds 6 rounds and fully upgraded it only hold 3.  </p><p>3. 9mm Pistol - Based off of the Colt version of the M1911 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1911_pistol)  it holds 6 bullets whereas the real gun holds 7 but it's not off by much. Fully upgraded it holds 14 bullets which is cool. </p><p>4. Shotgun - Based of off the Mossberg 500AT (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossberg_500) this holds 4 shells when the real gun holds 5 + 1 (5 plus 1 in the chamber) fully upgraded it holds 8 rounds but in real life can hold 8 + 1.  </p><p>5. Revolver - Based of off the Taurus Model 66 .357 which I couldn't find a wikipedia page for (https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/taurus-model-66-double-action-revolver-.357-magnum-6-barrel-7-rounds-fixed-frontadjustable-rear-sights-soft-rubber-grip-matte-black-finish/FC-725327200161.html) it only holds 6 bullets in the game rather than the 7 it does in real life.  </p><p>So yeah that's all the guns I'm listing for now (for the sake of time) I just wish games got the guns right with the ammo capacity for one.  </p>

<p>I think they would've because it doesn't make sense for the Hunter world to be made of only men. I mean women can get violent, sadist, and most of all hungry too just like the male hunters.  </p><p>I felt a little disppointed fighting only the guys. I was like "Come on, what about the nasty ladies?'  </p>

<p>I was wondering when Joel was a quote/unquote "Hunter" what did he do exactly that would qualify him for that title? </p><p>Like did he kill innocent people? Did he compete violently for supplies? Did he trick people like that Hunter at Pittsburg tried to do to him and Ellie? I mean what made him bad? </p><p>If he killed innocent people what was the context? Like he finds some people with supplies and decided to end them to take them? </p><p>Also how did he kill? Like with guns, melee, barehands?  </p><p>I mean the game doesn't give you the lowdown on it yet at least.  </p>

<p>FEDRA is a agency, so government is under control by the civilians and military. </p>

<p>Remember when you were going to the checkpoint, the soldier asks for Joel and Tess' ID. Out of nowhere the truck (Pretty sure its an Oshkosh MTVR) explodes caused by the fireflies. How did the rebels put a bomb on/in the truck without getting caught? Unless some of the soldiers are allied with the fireflies. </p>

<p>When you are dangling upside down in bills town, you pull out a revolver regardless of if you have one or not. After the encounter you keep the revolver. </p>

<p>I've noticed that on some playthroughs Joel will call out to Ellie when he finds the comics and she will respond, on others Joel will just say to himself 'I bet Ellie would like this' when he finds comics, anybody know what causes the dialogue changes? </p>

<p>I noticed Joel never said anything about David even when the cannibals he interrogated mentioned him or when Ellie was hacking him up... </p><p>Why? I mean he was someone Joel surely knew about as stated above plus he gave Ellie PTSD.  </p><p>Joel could've said something like "Man, that guy did all that to you? He's lucky you got to him first because I did.. Well, let's just say it would've been a lot messier." and/or even "Man I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you from that monster."  </p><p>Joel is just "..." about David. </p><p>When a character meets another character they should be acknowledged either in person or in reference.  </p><p>It just doesn't make any sense that this happened.  </p>
