A note to Santa is the third collectible artifact in The Last of Us Part II, found during the chapter "Jackson".

Description[]

A note to Santa is a handwritten note by Eric, a young boy who lived in a cul-de-sac in Jackson County, Wyoming, sometime after the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak.

He writes it to Santa Claus, asking him if he could have a dog for Christmas as he was a good boy for the year. He details how having a dog will help keep his father safe while he goes hunting for food and protect their house from the infected. The boy also states a dog would keep him company while his dad locks himself in his bedroom.

Location[]

A note to Santa can be found in the houses Ellie and Dina scavenge for supplies. On the left side of the street is a house that is half collapsed. Climb up to the second floor and search the bedside table drawers for the note.

Content[]

Dear Santa,
I was a good boy this year. Can I please have a big dog?

I want it to keep my daddy safe while he goes hunting for food.
It could also help protect our house from the monsters. It
could also help keep me company when my daddy closes
himself in the bedroom.

Here's what she should look like:

Can you also get me a gun? I think if I was stronger my daddy
would be happier.

Thank you very very much,
Eric
