The Adler residence is a minor location in HBO's The Last of Us. It was the home of Danny and Connie Adler, her elderly mother Nana, and their family dog Mercy, located in Austin, Texas. The Adlers were the neighbors of Joel and Sarah Miller.[1]

The Adler resistance was located in a culdesac in Austin. The Adlers lived here in 2003 next door to the Miller residence where Joel and his daughter Sarah lived.[1]
Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
On the night of the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Sarah went into the house after the Adler's dog Mercy alerted her. She went in and found that Nana had become an infected and had bitten the other two residents. Sarah fled the house, where Joel and his brother Tommy came to her aid, Joel striking the infected Nana dead with a wrench. The family then fled the culdesac.[1]
