Brandon Scott is an American actor who provides the English voice for Henry in The Last of Us. Neil Druckmann said that Scott was selected due to the "subtlety in how he portrayed Henry. Whereas most auditionees entered a fit of rage when confronting Joel about his remark on "dragging Sam halfway across the country", Scott was more reserved, making the scene much more powerful". They also liked how quickly he could change the dynamic of his character, going from almost a salesman persona of "everything's good now" to a confident and independent survivor when shoved down by Joel.[1] Troy Baker comically remarked years later that, during Scott's audition scene, he accidentally threw the prop gun rather than hit Brandon with it. However, Brandon did not break character and kept acting despite the strike.[2]
