Dawn of the Wolf

I don't see why this has it's own page, it could be in the Easter Egg section. TheGuyThatWasTheGuy (talk) 03:56, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

I don't think the Dawn of The Wolf posters are easter eggs. They're not like the Uncharted and Jak & Dexter references, something hidden and not related to the game. The posters are all over the place and even trigger a conversation option with Ellie, its a part of the game's universe. Ezlo86 (talk) 05:16, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, this is more a miscellanios page not an easter egg page. It deserves its stay. 98.150.170.103 09:55, June 23, 2013 (UTC) I don't have a signiture
Dawn of the Wolf is nothing but simply a movie poster seen in TLoU. It serves to purpose of being on the mainspace as it is about information, not just a movie seen on a poster. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 19:18, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
Result: Keep, seeing as the "vote" is tied. --Klock101 (talk) 15:44, June 24, 2013 (UTC)

Pallet

It is not a tool and item that is important to single player as it is used frequently?

It falls itno those categories, keep it Karto2287 (talk) 21:25, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

I don't really see the purpose of it being on the mainspace since it is only an object that carries Ellie across the water. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 21:27, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
Only? That is what gets them to objectives and as important as brick and bottles to have a mainpage. Come on, you can't be serious on this one, they are in the items or tools category. Its a TOOL. Karto2287 (talk) 22:06, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, only. And throwable objects are there because are an inventory object, this is not. And you created the Tool category. You clearly do NOT understand what to create when it comes to creating articles. All it is is "what ifs" and little things that do not need its own article, so STOP making articles. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 22:33, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
You cannot deny that this still falls in the tool category. It was an important role ingame, need the page. Karto2287 (talk) 04:32, June 26, 2013 (UTC)
Just throwing in that I vote to delete. Result: Delete. Pallets aren't notable enough to have an article; at most they should be mentioned or given a section in others.--Klock101 (talk) 22:45, June 26, 2013 (UTC)

The Last of Us references in other media

Not enough info on this page to constitute an article. Additionally, all of the info on it is already in the Easter eggs article, which is better suited to the info. --Klock101 (talk) 16:03, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Unnamed soldier

SPOILER ALERT, for anyone who hasn't played the game yet.

This article should almost certainly be deleted. He is an extremely minor character who was ordered to shoot Sarah, another relatively minor character, and then died. If you're going to create a page for the soldier who shot Sarah, you might as well create pages for the soldiers that shot Tess, all the survivors/hunters killed in cutscenes by Joel, the soldiers who captured Joel, Tess and Ellie who were killed etc.

Exilninja (talk) 16:48, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

i disagree, i believe all text from him should be included on the page with the title changed to reflect this wasnt just any soldier, he is the cause of Joel's dislike of soldiers, and that scene shows how horrible soldiers can be and how they wlll do what they know is immoral when his superior asks him. 96.244.58.135 22:39, July 16, 2013 (UTC)

TLoU Fanfic - Doomed - Part 1

This page isn't need and should be deleted. It's more of a blog post. JgOnzO (talk) 01:01, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

Austin

Didnt we agree that this page doesn't need to be made? I really need to get a signature (talk) 22:47, March 13, 2014 (UTC)

Don't delete the Idea for a potential the last of us 2 page

Idea for a potential the last of Us 2 should not be deleted. It is an opinion from a fan and writers can look at it and get ideas. It isn't a crime to put an opinion. Orli15 (talk) 19:48, September 27, 2014 (UTC)

Nice assumption there, put it on a forum or your userpage, not a mainspace page for official information. TPShadowDragon Born into flame! 22:50, September 27, 2014 (UTC)

Colleen Raqueno

Hey guys. I wanted to get some people's opinion on the validity of the article Colleen Raqueno, as well as others similar to it. Should we really create articles for characters mentioned within the environment? I understand characters that are mentioned through an article or by mouth of another character, but if a character's name simply appears within the game's environment whether it be on signs, pictures, etc., should that really constitute it as its own article?

Personally, I find it uneeded as most people won't search for such a character and there's next to no information on them. We should also keep in mind that if we create an article for one character who falls in this category, then it would only be fair to create articles for every person mentioned like this. And I feel that would only clutter the mainspace of unnecessary content. I say we should delete it (and any others that may exist). Let me know what you guys think. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 23:23, September 27, 2019 (UTC)

Hmm, it is an issue when we have lots of pages that are what one may call 'dead info' pages. I know the likes of TARDIS wiki like to include pages for literally everything mentioned in the universe. I've always been so-so on that given it does lead to lots of pages like the Colleen Raqueno discussed here.
However, if we say yes to deleting this article, why then should we keep the characters mentioned on the Firefly pendants? They're pretty much the exact same are they not? A name not spoken by anyone in the game but merely saw by us, the player, on our adventure. How is the player looking at the name on the pendant any different to looking at this name on a door sign?
The way I see it then, we can delete this article but then we'd also have to delete all the Firefly pendant name characters too given, as you says @NFG, it would only be fair to apply this rule for every person mentioned like this.
But then, I'm a single opinion. Lets see what others think ^_^ Snivy The coolest Pokemon ever 08:09, September 28, 2019 (UTC)
Be a hell of a lot easier just to have a page dedicated to names shown in the environment such as Colleen rather than a separate page. Daimyo Heligo The Forgotten Sinner 11:20, September 28, 2019 (UTC)
I agree with Snivy and Riley. I think that having a page dedicated to mentioned-only characters, and another to Firefly Pendants would probably work best. There isn't enough information on the vast majority of either (except maybe for the Firefly who got turned into a Bloater) to warrant individual pages for all of them.  M67PattonZippo (talk) 11:25, September 28, 2019 (UTC)
I personally think that the Firefly Pendants are worthy enough for an article. They aren't simply characters that the only information we have is their name, but they're also collectibles in the game similar to artifacts and such. Including Joe Warren who is actually seen as a bloater in the game. Their articles could do a nice tie-in as a character and a collectible with a detailed location and such. I also think it would be easier for viewers to navigate the articles if we had separate pages for artifacts and fireflies, rather than having articles for artifacts but not the fireflies.
I think that the firefly pendants and mentioned characters through artifacts portray somewhat of a significance as the player is able to interact and learn more about those characters rather than someone like Colleen. However, I do agree that the Colleen article can be deleted and moved to another page, perhaps the Characters page? Just have a section that lists all the mentioned characters, including the environmental ones? My two cents is keep the artifact and firefly pendant characters, but delete Colleen and merge it with the Characters article. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 22:35, September 28, 2019 (UTC)
Indeed, I reckon a list page would work better. We have done similar with The Last of Us script page and that appears to have gone down well. Snivy The coolest Pokemon ever 19:29, September 30, 2019 (UTC)
Result: Unanimous vote to delete the article and merge it with Characters(?) Any further discussion about other characters, etc., should be taken elsewhere. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 19:59, September 30, 2019 (UTC)
