Collector is a Survival Skill in The Last of Us.
Skill information[]
Level 1 (3 loadout points)- Increase the number of parts you earn by 10%.
Level 2 (5 loadout points)- Increase the number of parts you earn by 20%.
General information[]
Collector increases parts gained from performing most actions, including reviving, crafting, downing, marking enemies, and executing. However, it does not increase the parts given by healing other players using First-Aid Training, or giving gifts. Collector does not strictly increase parts earned by 10% or 20%; rather, it rounds up to the nearest multiple of five. For example, marking enemy players without collector grants 15 parts; with collector 1, it is raised to 20 parts instead. Collector stacks with other part boosting skills, such as Reviver, Executioner. Damage Marker and the extra parts booster.
Collector is a good skill to use for those players planning on spending a great deal of parts, such as for buying purchasables or using ammo-intensive weapons such as the Burst Rifle. At higher population levels, Collector can help maintain the higher levels of supplies needed after each match to prevent the population from starving.
