When collecting this item while playing as Abby Anderson, players expand their skill branch. They can now craft shivs which can be used to stealth kill clickers. They can now also move faster while in listen mode and when grabbing enemies. This also applies when moving while prone. [1]
Location[]
Players can collect this manual during the "On Foot" section while in the warehouse with the sailing boat with Mel, Manny Alvarez and their dog Alice. When using the ladder to cross the gap between the boats, head into the boat's cabin. This manual will be inside.[1]
