The Freedom Museum of Boston is a minor location in The Last of Us. It is a historical museum in the city of Boston, with exhibits focusing on the American Revolutionary War against Great Britain (1775-1783).
Joel, Ellie, and Tess are forced to detour through the Revolutionary Exhibition of the museum during their journey to the Massachusetts State House to rendezvous with the Fireflies. Inside, they encounter infected and, unknown to Joel and Ellie at the time, Tess is bitten during the fight.
