Gameplay modifiers are extras in The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II.

Overview[]

Introduced in The Last of Us Part II with its Grounded Update that released on August 13, 2020, gameplay modifiers change the behavior of the game when enabled. The player can earn points by finding collectibles, earning trophies, and completing the game on higher difficulties. Earned points can be spent to unlock gameplay modifiers, concept art, character models, and render modes.

The Last of Us Part I[]

While not included in the PS3 or PS4 version of the game, The Last of Us Part I includes gameplay modifiers. There are a total of 15 gameplay modifiers available, organized into three categories:
