Houser is a minor character in The Last of Us. He is one of the technicians of Jackson's hydroelectric dam. He worked alongside Earl and several other men.[1]

Background[]
At some point after the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Houser joined Maria's community at Jackson and worked for her on the hydroelectric dam. He was later promoted, being in charge of at least one group of workers.[1] Earl began a family and became a member of the community at Jackson, Wyoming being run by Maria Miller. He is among those who tend to the operation of the nearby hydroelectric dam.
Events of The Last of Us[]
In the Fall of 2033, Houser worked with Earl and a group of other men. As Houser and his crew were working, Earl was taking a break where he mentioned he was waiting for Houser and "the boys" to relieve him.[1]
