The hunting pistol is a short gun in The Last of Us Part II.

The hunting pistol is a single-shot pistol that can kill many enemy types in just one shot, found only by Abby Anderson. Its role is similar to that of El Diablo in The Last of Us, as it is one of the highest-damaging guns in Abby's campaign and has a 4x scope once upgraded. It can also penetrate more than one enemy.[1]
However, unlike the El Diablo, it is a break-open single-shot action, meaning that it must be reloaded after each use.
Once Abby has acquired the appropriate Training Manual, she is able to craft hunting pistol ammo using an Explosive and Blade.[2]
