Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
When Joel finishes his work on the body disposal detail burning the corpses of deceased Fireflies, infected, and those executed for defying FEDRA laws, Knapp logs his progress and hands over the ration cards he earned. He notes that the only jobs available the next day are street sweeping or sewer maintenance. When Joel asks which pays more, he replies that the dirtier job does before writing him in for the next day's sewer cleaning shift.[1]

Knapp wears a FEDRA uniform, including a forage cap, worn vest with his name strip, and boots. He also had a mustache, greying hair, and a salt-and-pepper beard, indicating that he is middle-aged or older.[1]
