Mark Anthony Halpin was a resident of the Kansas City quarantine zone. At some point some of Mark's fellow citizens began to suspect that he was cooperating with FEDRA against the city's resistance movement to earn perks or preferential treatment.
Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
Following the overthrow of the Kansas City contingent of FEDRA by the resistance, Mark disappeared, evading capture by the rebels. Kathleen Coghlan interrogated Dr. Edelstein in a holding cell, believing he may have information on his whereabouts or that of other suspected collaborators, including Henry Burrell.
