Max is a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part II. He was a resident of Seattle.
Biography[]
Max arrived in Seattle with his mother, father, and brother Ricky, at some point after the outbreak. The family took shelter in the Seattle Waterfront Aquarium for some time. Max painted pictures on the walls of the aquarium and made a fort in the underwater observation dome.[1]
During their time in Seattle, Max and Ricky's mother was killed by soldiers. Her death led their father to become overbearingly protective of the boys.[2] Ricky, frustrated with their father's lack of action after their mother's death, made contact with a group of Seraphites traveling through the area. Eventually, Ricky took Max with him to join the Seraphites, leaving their father alone in the aquarium.[3]
