Mike is a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part II. He is a resident of Jackson and works as a patrolman for the community under Maria Miller's leadership.[1]
Biography[]
Mike has lived in Jackson since at least 2034. To combat the growing hordes of infected roaming into the area, Mike joined the patrolmen within the community to help keep track of and eliminate threats. He patrolled the Elk Creek trail and Mountain View lodge areas.[1] While many in Jackson tended to patrol with another person regularly, Mike tended to rotate his partner, going on patrol with various people, notably Jesse, William, and Eugene Linden.[2]
Mike was very strict when it came to following protocol. Notably, he was angered when Tommy Miller and Joel Miller took to recording their own jokes in the Mountain View log book between November and December of 2035. He was angered enough that he chastised them in the log book itself. This only tempted the brothers further and also led to Bonnie, Greg and Eugene adding their own satirical marks, much to Mike's frustration. In the log for May 13th, 2036, Eugene's comment implied that Mike was so enraged by the patrolmen's bantering that he held Eugene at gun point and made him write a positive comment about him.[1]
Also worthy of note is that Mike appeared to patrol less frequently throughout 2037 and early 2038, with his name only appearing once in the log book for this time span. However, he was scheduled to patrol Teton County with Jesse, switching out with Joel and Tommy on March 3rd, 2038.[2]
