Nasir is a minor character in the first season of HBO's The Last of Us.[1]
Biography[]
Background[]
At some point before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Nasir became the owner of Lone Star Watch & Jewelry in Austin, Texas, alongside Tahira.[1]
Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
On September 26, 2003, Nasir was working at the store when Sarah Miller arrived, asking if he could fix her father Joel's watch for his birthday. Nasir inspected the watch and, seeing it would be an easy fix, offered to do it for $20. When Sarah was shocked at how low the cost of repair was, he jokingly offered to instead do it for $30. While fixing it, he and Sarah noticed several police cars rush by the store with lights and sirens blaring. He bemoaned that police cars had been driving by all day. As he was repairing the watch, his wife Tahira came rushing out from the back in a panic, telling him they were closing the store early. As Nasir protested, Tahira told him in Arabic that she had just gotten off the phone with her sister and that something horrible was happening. As Nasir had finished fixing the watch anyway, he handed it off to Sarah before Tahira ushered her out the door.[1]
Appearance[]
Nasir had a brown beard, with shoulder length brown hair. He wore a gold watch and a cream buttoned shirt.[1]

Nasir was a kind man, offering to repair the watch for Sarah at a discounted price. He also had a sense of humor, jokingly suggesting to up the price because Sarah was surprised by it, even though increasing the price would deter her from purchasing the repair.[1]
