Paige Vickers was a minor character in The Last of Us Part II.[1]
Biography
Background and early life
Paige lived with her husband Simon in Seattle, during 2013. She was apparently not fond of the jokes Simon made.[2] She also fell pregnant shortly before the outbreak of the Cordyceps Brain Infection (CBI).[3]
Post-outbreak
After the CBI outbreak, Paige hid with Simon at the Pike and Convention conference center. They stayed there for at least thirty seven days. During that time, However, Paige contracted a fever from her pregnancy. Fearing she would die, Simon left her to travel to Lakehill Seattle Hospital to find medicine for her.
While gone, Paige grew worried he wouldn't return. She risked following after him but was quickly attacked by a Seraphite patrol, who chased her back to the convention center. She barricaded herself inside and fled upstairs, where she wrote a note for Simon, revealing she was paralysed with fear and did not know what to do. She finished the note professing her love for Simon.
At some point after this, the Seraphites broke in to the convention center and killed Paige, using her blood to make a mural of their insignia on the wall at the front entrance.[1]
Events of The Last of Us Part II
In 2038, Ellie can find Paige's final note and corpse while searching for Nora Harris in Seattle.[1]
