Sometime after Outbreak Day, Pat joined the Rattlers in Santa Barbara, California. Like the other Rattlers, Pat captured, enslaved, and abused countless survivors and infected. Pat once lived with their mother, and were on good terms with Jenny. It appeared Pat joined the Rattlers to provide food for their family back home.[1]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
Pat wrote to Jenny in a letter accompanied by a share of food obtained for capturing more prisoners for the Rattlers. The letter implored Jenny to give Pat's mother extra food, fearing she was slowly starving to death.[1]
Sometime after Pat wrote the letter, Ellie attacked the Rattler compound, leading to the prisoners revolting against the Rattlers' rule. As such, the letter remained unsent.[2]
