Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]

Season 2[]

In April 2029, Scott chose to speak publicly during the debate over Ellie's proposal to send a group of patrolmen to Seattle to track down and kill Joel Miller's murderers. However, rather than addressing the issue directly, he used most of his time to present proposals for improving Jackson’s farming methods to reduce labor and increase crop yields. Tommy Miller interrupted, urging him to stay on topic. Scott then admitted he had little interest in Ellie’s petition, prompting Maria Miller to end his speaking time and move on to Rachel.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

  • Scott is portrayed by Canadian actor Haig Sutherland.
  • In the episode's credits, Scott is credited as "Boring Scott"—an inside joke by the writers referencing the character's boring nature and unremarkable decision to raise an economic topic during the debate.
