The Seattle Waterfront Aquarium is a location featured in The Last of Us Part II. It is an aquarium located on the coastline on the Seattle harbor and serves as a temporary base for Abby Anderson and her group after Owen Moore had fled there to prevent the WLF arresting him for accidentally killing a fellow member, Danny.
Prior to 2034, Max and Ricky's family occupied the area and made a life there. However, after FEDRA soldiers killed Max and Ricky's mother, their father became paranoid and stopped the boys leaving. After the Seraphites took control of the area, Ricky joined the group and took Max with him, leaving a note complaining about their father's overbearing nature and his failure to avenge their mother's death. Their father found the note and left a note apologizing and asking Ricky to look after Max, ending his life in the aquarium. Eventually, Owen and Abby found the notes when first breaking in to the aquarium a short time after joining the WLF.

Behind the scenes[]
- The fictional Seattle Waterfront Aquarium is based on the real life Seattle Aquarium, a public aquarium located at Pier 59 of Elliott Bay in Seattle. The nearby Pier Point Ferris Wheel is also based on the Seattle Great Wheel at Pier 57. In the HBO television adaption, it is also called Seattle Aquarium with its real-life name.
