Shipping manifest is the seventh collectible artifact, and the ninth collectible overall, in The Last of Us. It is found during "The Slums" section of the second chapter, "The Quarantine Zone".[1]

Description[]

The shipping manifest is a handwritten note on the back side of a sheet of engineering paper detailing a sailor's experience with Robert and FEDRA soldiers at the docks of Mission Hill Pier outside the Boston quarantine zone, as well as a manifest of items they received in trading. The sailor recounts how the military noticed their ships docking at the warehouse, believing that they would be arrested for smuggling. However, Robert knew one of the soldiers and managed to bribe them into letting the sailors go by giving them a third of the ship's cargo. The sailor compliments Robert's bribery skills and continues to list the items they received in trading with the smugglers, including clothes, toilet paper, frozen meat, and liquor.[1]

Acquisition[]

After Joel and Tess make their way through a chain-hoisted garage door that leads to the docks, they spot Robert speaking with one of his men. After he walks away, Joel and Tess vault over a stone wall down to the ground, where six of Robert's smugglers patrol the area. After dropping down, head towards the right to the metal railing overlooking the water (outside of the loading bay). The note can be found on the ground next to some fishing net behind a couple of blue trash bins.

Be sure to pick up the artifact before entering the office Robert ran into at the other end of the loading bay, as Tess will shut the door behind them and the area will be inaccessible after that.[1]

Transcript[]

Damn soldiers spotted one of our ships. I thought we were done for, but that Robert guy knew one of them. He managed to bribe them in return for letting us go. I guess he's good for something. The son of a bitch can talk. It did cost us a third of the cargo and I can't shake the feeling that we've been had. How the hell did they find us in that fog?

Anyways, here's what we managed to bring in:

2 crates of clothes (some new pairs of jeans!)
1 crate toilet paper
2 crates of frozen meat (more Canadian Bison!)
1 crate of liquor
