At some point before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Tahira became the owner of Lone Star Watch & Jewelry in Austin, Texas, alongside Nasir.[1]
Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
On September 26, 2003, Nasir was repairing Joel Miller's watch for Sarah when Tahira came running out from the back of the store, declaring that they needed to close early. When Nasir protested that he was helping Sarah, Tahira told him in Arabic that she just got off the phone with her sister and they needed to shut down the store. After giving Sarah the watch, she urged her to go home before rushing her out of the door and locking it.[1]

Tahira had brown hair and brown eyes and wore a maroon flower patterned dress.

Tahira was frantic with worry from various news reports discussing the outbreak of Cordyceps, leading her to rush Sarah out of the store.
