Firefly?[]
I just made a minor edit to Nick's page, and I noticed something: he's not listed as a former Firefly. That's probably an oversight, since Jordan and Leah both are listed as ex-Fireflies... but should they be? We have proof of Abby, Owen, Manny, and Mel, and strong evidence that Nora was, too, but nothing for the other three. I guess the assumption is that since they accompanied the group to Jackson, they must've been Fireflies who also wanted revenge on Joel, but maybe they just became friends with the Salt Lake crew in Seattle, and went with them to Jackson for extra support and protection.
Either way, it should probably be standardized across the three of them: all ex-Fireflies, or none of them. My vote would be "none", since there's no actual proof to support that Nick, Leah, or Jordan were ever members of the group.Swedgin (talk) 06:33, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- There is though. Isaac collectively refers to all of Abby's friends as the "Salt Lake" crew, indicating they are all former Fireflies. The reason he wasn't listed is simply because we (me) forgot to add him when editing the pages. Its a simple over sight issue rather than a potentiality to start debating the viability of whether characters were or weren't Fireflies. Snivy ✦ The coolest Pokemon ever ✦ 08:59, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- I'll disagree on that interpretation, that Isaac was referring to all of Abby's friends. He's referencing a conversation between Abby and Nora, regarding Owen. So he's referring to those 3, who are all members of the Salt Lake crew. But that's as far as that specific comment goes. I don't think it can be used to make assumptions about anyone else. If we had any proof from elsewhere in the game that Nick, Jordan, and Leah were ever in Salt Lake (like we do with Manny and Mel) then we could definitely include them in that group. But we don't. The only thing that ties them to the Fireflies is that they traveled from Seattle to Jackson to help Abby kill Joel.
- I'm not going to fight for it, cuz it's not really a big deal, but based on everything we know (and don't know), I think it's very much an open question of whether those three were actually Fireflies or not. Swedgin (talk) 10:35, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
