The Art of The Last of Us Part II is an art book released by Dark Horse Comics in collaboration with Naughty Dog featuring concept art and character designs from The Last of Us Part II. The book was released on June 24, 2020, five days after the release of the game.[1]

Release[]
The art book was first announced on September 26, 2019, as part of the lineup for Outbreak Day 2019 and made available for preorder starting September 30. The book was originally slated for release on March 3, 2020, eleven days after the games stated release day of February 21. However, as the release of the game was delayed, so was the release of the art book.[2] Ultimately, the book was released on June 24, 2020, five days after the release of The Last of Us Part II.[1]

Deluxe Edition[]
In addition to the standard edition of the art book, Dark Horse also released The Art of The Last of Us Part II Deluxe Edition. While containing the same number of pages and featuring the same art, the Deluxe Edition features an exclusive cover and slipcase. Additionally, this edition included a gallery-quality lithograph. Mini art book[]
A 48 page, full-color, hard-cover mini art book was included with the Special Edition, Collector's Edtion, and Ellie Edition of The Last of Us Part II. The mini art book contains a subset of the images featured in the full art book. Additionally, the mini art book was distributed in digital form with all of the aforementioned editions of the game and was also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition. Unlike the standard and Deluxe Edition, the mini art book was never made available for sale and was only available through purchasing certain editions of the games.
