Background[]
The Bergquists are a family that were residents of the Kansas City quarantine zone. At some point some of their fellow citizens began to suspect that they were cooperating with FEDRA against the city's resistance movement to earn perks or preferential treatment.
Events of HBO's The Last of Us[]
Following the overthrow of the Kansas City contingent of FEDRA by the resistance, the Bergquists disappeared, evading capture by the rebels. Kathleen Coghlan interrogated Dr. Edelstein in a holding cell, believing he may have information on their whereabouts or that of other suspected collaborators, including Henry Burrell.
