I've got a feeling that, for Dina, Ellie isn't someone she has feelings for. Rather, she's a possession and a proof of her own power. After all, most folk in Jackson probably know about the girl with the sleeping demon in her - the Infected one who never Turned. Additionally, I'll bet Joel's reputation also has travelled and some people will look at Ellie as the apprentice and heir of the deadliest and most amoral hunter in post-Outbreak history.
Very cynically and pessimistically, for Dina, having Ellie as a lover was just proof to her peer group that she could seduce and control a monster rather than anything else.
Very interesting perspective!
I think that eventually, the community will discover Ellie and Joel's secrets. It's only a matter of time. And then their perceptions of the two will change; perhaps their opinions of Tommy as well. Their reactions would probably range from "Well that explains a lot", to "He (Tommy) let those killing machines in?!"
