To Get to the Other Side! is an artifact obtained in the chapter "Lakeside Resort" in The Last of Us. It is one of Ellie's personal belongings and is already in her backpack at the start of the chapter.
The book can be seen again at Ellie's house in Jackson during The Last of Us Part II.

- Ellie tells a total of five sets of jokes throughout the game, some of which are likely from this book.
- Unlike the other two joke books Ellie has in her inventory, this one is written by Kathryn McCormack. The name appears to be a homage to American writer Cormac McCarthy, author of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Road, which according to Naughty Dog was a major inspiration for The Last of Us.
