Trading cards are a category of collectibles found in The Last of Us Part II and are only collected by Ellie. They appear as trading cards of a fictional collectible card game known as Society of Champions.[1] The trading cards are a part of the same fictional franchise as the Savage Starlight comics found in The Last of Us, as a card can be found featuring the comic's protagonist, Dr. Daniela Star. There are a total of 48 trading cards that can be found in the game.

Behind the scenes[]
- The visuals for the 48 cards were created by freelance artist Paul Reinwand and two art directors, Alex Neonakis and Ashley Swidowski. Character names and card descriptions were created by Josh Scherr.[2]
- Six of the characters on the cards are inspired by members of the game's development team: The Imp, Doctor Uckmann, Wachumero, Das Wort, Randy Styles, and The Nighthawk.[3]
