Warren's Firefly pendant is the twenty-second collectible Firefly pendant, and the one hundred and first collectible overall, in The Last of Us Part I. It is found during the "Go Big Horns" section of the eighth chapter, "The University".[1]
Acquisition[]
This pendant is unique in that the player must defeat and loot it from a bloater to acquire it rather than finding it hidden among the environment. While exploring the University of Eastern Colorado, Joel and Ellie will come to a locked gate with a generator on the other side. Enter the nearby dormitory while Ellie and Callus wait for Joel at the gate. After falling into the spore-infested lower levels, the area contains four clickers and a bloater, who was formerly the Firefly member Joe Warren.
To obtain the pendant, the player must defeat the bloater and pick it up from his body. One possible strategy is to stealth kill the surrounding clickers and then fight the bloater, using a combination of Molotov cocktails and the newly-acquired flamethrower. Once defeated, the player can loot the pendant from the bloater's corpse. Be sure to pick up the pendant before exiting through the door blocked by a vending machine, as the area is inaccessible after that.[1]
