Biography

Background and early life

Little is known about Welsh except that they were a survivor of the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak. They lived in the Seattle quarantine zone by 2018 under FEDRA's control. However, they hated their oppressive rule and joined the WLF resistance to overthrow them. The group succeeded and Welsh became a member of a WLF squad stationed at the TV station in the city.

Events of HBO's The Last of Us

Season 2

In April 2029, Welsh was present when their platoon was attacked by Seraphites at the TV radio station. Despite the massacre, Welsh and fellow WLF soldier Brancaccio somehow escaped. Their absence was noted by a support squad that arrived sometime after the Seraphites left, noting their bodies were not present at the station.
