Westlake Bank is a minor location featured in The Last of Us Part II. It is a former bank located in Seattle.[1]

Bank heist[]
Westlake Bank was a local bank in Seattle. Inside was a staircase, a front and back door, a checkout counter and a vault containing people's personal belongings. Money was also stored here as was a strange ring. The guards in the bank rotated shifts every two hours during the day and every four hours at night.[2] They also wore body armor to protect them against any attackers.[1]
Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the outbreak, Neal Grant, Kyle Peters, Leon Travis and B launched a raid on the bank on September 26, 2013 at 1 AM. They attacked the security guards and breached the vault using its code, 60-23-06. However, infected poured into the bank, with a runner attacking Kyle. B managed to pry it from him and killed it, but only after it had bitten him. Neal and Kyle then sealed him in the vault and fled the bank. B wrote a confession outing the group's names before killing himself with his shotgun to avoid transforming into a runner. The bank was then abandoned as infected terrorized the city.[3]
Abandonment[]
The United States military eventually arrived and sealed the city into a quarantine zone. Under FEDRA's orders, they then carpet bombed the area of the city where Westlake Bank was located, severely damaging the building though the vault remained intact. Over the next 25 years, infected poured into the area, occupying it in the absence of humans.[1]
Aaron eventually heard a rumor that the supplies in the vault were still present and asked his friend Colin to raid the bank with him so they could steal the supplies and use them to trade with a group who could get them out of Seattle. However, the pair did not go through with the plan.[4]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
In April, 2038, Ellie and Dina enter the bank in search of supplies. They killed the guards, who by now had transformed into clickers and then broke into the vault. Ellie found B's corpse and then took his shotgun to use herself as well as collecting the strange ring. They then left the bank.[1]
